Wix gives you a real robots.txt editor, which not every hosted builder does. It is in the dashboard rather than the editor, and it is easy to miss.
The robots.txt editor
Go to SEO & GEO in your site dashboard. Not the editor, and not Settings.
Scroll down to Tools and settings. The robots.txt editor is in that group.
Open the Robots.txt Editor and read what is there. Wix writes a default file for you, so you are editing rather than starting from nothing.
Add the rules from your Fix Pack and save. Then open
yourdomain.com/robots.txtin a browser to confirm the change is live.
Delete any rule naming one of the four answer crawlers with a blanket disallow under it. An allow and a disallow for the same crawler is ambiguous, and the engines do not all resolve it the same way.
If the block is not in the file
Read the technical detail on the finding. If it says a crawler was turned away by a firewall rather than by robots.txt, the request never reached your site and the editor above will not help. On Wix that infrastructure is Wix’s rather than yours, so the answer is their support rather than a setting you can find. Send them the crawler names.
Which crawlers to allow
The four that read your site to answer a question now are OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot and Perplexity-User. Those are the ones a failure is about. The training crawlers are scored separately and only ever produce a warning, because blocking them is a legitimate choice.
