Short answers to the questions people actually ask
In the order you are likely to need them: getting set up, reading your results, what it costs, and what to do when something looks wrong.
Getting started
- I have just bought a licence. What should I do first?Add your domain, pick your questions, run the scan, work the Fix Pack top down, then run the included re-scan. The whole loop, ideally in your first week.
- What does a scan look at, and what does it not?Three separate things: what the AI engines say about you, which costs credits, and whether your site and your Google listing are set up to be read, which are free.
- What do you check on my Google Business Profile, and why should I connect it?We read your public listing for free and score it separately from your website. Connecting your Google account is optional and adds three checks we are otherwise not allowed to see.
- How many sites can I scan, and can I change the one I picked? One domain per lifetime licence, ten on agency, $49 each after that. You can change yours free until your first paid scan, and once each licence year after that.
- How do you write the questions a scan asks?We draft from a few pages of your site, plus reviews and towns. You tick the ones to keep. Writing has a price, shown on the button. Each question you keep is asked of every AI engine on a full scan.
Understanding your results
- I have three numbers. Which one matters?Composite is the headline; visibility is your actual position in the market and moves slowly; readiness is entirely within your control and is usually the first to move.
- What do the four verdicts on the Answers screen mean?Cited beats recommended, which beats named, which beats absent. A “failed” cell is our error, excluded from your score with the credit refunded.
- Who is getting recommended instead of me, and why?Competitors lists every business the engines named instead of you; citations lists the sources they used, ordered by what you can realistically fix first.
- What do I do with all this, and in what order?Work it top down, in the order of how much each fix moves your score against how long it takes, then run the included verification re-scan to see what actually changed.
Credits and billing
- What is a credit, and why did my scan cost what it did?One credit is one question, asked of one engine, for one location, fetched fresh. Technical checks, cached answers, refunded failures and your Fix Pack all cost nothing.
- Is this really a one-off payment, and what happens if you shut down? One payment, no renewal and no expiry, for the lifetime of the product, with engine usage metered in credits and 90 days’ notice plus a full export if it is ever discontinued.
- Can I get my money back?Fourteen days, on request, if the product does not do what the pricing page says. Cancelling monitoring never touches the lifetime licence underneath it.
When something looks wrong
- My score moved and I did not change anything. What happened?AI answers vary between runs, so a few points of movement with nothing changed on your side is normal. Readiness only moves when your site changes or when we add checks, and History tells you which.
- I asked ChatGPT myself and got a different answer. Is your data wrong? The ChatGPT app answers you through your own history, memory and location; we ask the provider’s API from a clean context. They are two different systems that legitimately differ.
- My scan says failed, or it has not finished. What now?You have not lost credits. A cell that fails is refunded automatically and excluded from your score rather than counted against you.
